Shoutout to my coworker who told me to use a ruler instead of guessing my page layouts
I kept messing up my weekly spreads because I was eyeballing the columns and rows every time. This guy at my shop finally said 'just draw two vertical lines at 2 inches and 4 inches with a pencil' and it clicked immediately. Has anyone else had that one piece of advice that just made everything fall in place?

That ruler advice is gold lmao. I had a similar moment when someone told me to use a paperclip as a bookmark with the top end pointing to where I stopped reading. Sounds dumb but my brain finally got it after years of losing my place in chunky textbooks. Your coworker is a lifesaver for real, nothing worse than a crooked weekly spread throwing off your whole vibe.

Measuring things out first saved my butt too. I used to screw up my bullet journal spreads constantly until I started marking the top edge of the page with little ticks at the right spots before I drew anything. Now I just use a ruler to connect those dots and it comes out straight every time.
