The $12 notebook from Target outlasted my fancy one
I bought a softcover dotted notebook at a Target in Austin about 18 months ago because my leather-bound journal was too nice to actually use. Turns out the cheap one has been through coffee spills, a beach trip, and my daily rapid logging without a single page tearing. Meanwhile that expensive journal is still sitting on my shelf looking pretty, and honestly it stresses me out to think about messing it up. Am I the only one who finds nicer supplies make it harder to actually keep a habit going?
