That 'I Brake for Yard Sales' sticker finally got me
I used to ROLL my eyes at those stickers, thought they were for old ladies with too much ceramic frog decor. Then last Saturday I was driving down Route 9 in Poughkeepsie and saw a sign for an estate sale, pulled over on a whim. Found a full set of vintage Le Creuset pans for 40 bucks, practically new. Has anyone else had a bumper sticker actually change their mind about something?

Did your friend at least find decent stuff or was it all Tupperware lids?

Can't relate. That sticker is basically a confession that you'll stop for literally anything with a hand-painted sign. I passed one that said "ANTIQUES 1 MILE" once and ended up with a box of old VHS tapes and a lamp that doesn't work. Maybe you got lucky, but most of those stops are just other people's junk with a price tag. How do you know when a yard sale is actually worth pulling over for?
