A customer in Portland said my sausage links looked like sad little slugs

He wasn't wrong, they were kind of lumpy and uneven. I realized I was rushing the stuffing process on my old LEM grinder. Now I go way slower and keep the meat colder, and my links look a hundred times better. Anyone else get a piece of feedback that made you totally change a simple step?

Portland's brutal honesty got you good. That kind of visual feedback sticks with you way more than someone just saying "make them tighter." It forces you to actually watch your own hands and see the problem.

Ugh, that visual feedback is the worst... but you're right, it's the only thing that really makes it click. Stings so good.

Man, that's so true. @holly_sanchez75, what's the ONE specific thing you saw in your own hands after that feedback that made you go "oh, THAT'S what they meant"? Like a certain angle or a tense finger you never noticed before?
