Tbh, my wife said my shop's beef prices are too high and it's making her friends shop at the chain store. She's not wrong, but my costs are up 30% from last year. Do we raise prices and risk losing locals, or cut our margin to keep them?

Ugh, that's such a tough spot! Maybe you could run a small special on just one popular cut to keep people coming in, even if you take a hit on that item? It shows you're trying.
