Pro tip: Saw a crew in Denver using zip ties for everything, even coax runs
I was working near a new build in Denver and watched another team secure a whole 50-foot coax drop with just zip ties to a chain link fence. It looked quick and clean, but I've always been told to use proper clamps or lashing wire for anything outside. What's the real move here for a permanent install?

Saw that in Phoenix too... total hack job.

But is it really a hack job if it works and lasts? I've seen zip ties hold up for years in full sun without failing. Sometimes the old way isn't the only right way, you know? What's the actual problem if the result is solid?

Zip ties are UV rated and way faster than messing with clamps. If it's secure and looks clean, who cares about the old rules?
