A good visor seal beats any paste though, that's the real game changer if your mask fits right.

You must be using the wrong kind of liners. The ones I get are perforated and they sit flat against the bottom so air flows fine. My fries come out crispy every time. Also the paper curling up only happens if you buy the cheap no-name ones on Amazon. The official brands hold up fine at 400 degrees. Cleanup is worth way more than scrubbing for 20 minutes. I'm not going back.

I was never a big believer in those DIY compost bins. Figured it was one of those things people tried once and then gave up on.
