Had to choose between a $500 espresso machine repair or a whole new $2000 unit
My La Marzocco started leaking last month, and the quote was crazy. I chose the repair, which took two weeks, but now it runs better than ever. Honestly, it was a stressful gamble with rent due. Has anyone else faced a major equipment fix-or-replace choice recently?

Ever fix something only to have it break worse a week later? Happened with my coffee maker last month. Ended up needing a whole new one anyway.
