Shoutout to the old Shimano freehub that finally gave up
Honestly, I spent like four hours yesterday trying to figure out a weird clicking noise on a customer's road bike. Took the whole rear wheel apart twice, checked the cassette, the bearings, everything. Turns out it was just one tiny, worn-out pawl spring inside the freehub body that I missed the first time. Ngl, I felt pretty dumb for not spotting it sooner. Anyone else have a simple fix that took way too long to find?
