Spent $500 on a fancy espresso machine and got nothing but headaches

I thought upgrading my old machine would bring in more morning rush customers, but this new one keeps jamming up mid shot. It's been two weeks and I've had to call the repair guy three times already, adding another $150 to the total. The steam wand is nice but it's not worth the constant breakdowns when we're trying to serve people fast. Any other cafe owners here stuck with a pricey machine that just doesn't hold up? I'm thinking of selling it and going back to my trusty old one, but I'm not sure yet.

Exactly, "that really stinks" is right. I've been there too, and it's just the worst feeling when you're trying to fix something and it all goes sideways. It makes you want to throw in the towel, but at least you're learning what not to do next time, right? I hope things turn around for you quickly, nobody needs that kind of stress hanging around.

And honestly I'm the SAME way, I totally get it. I once spent like three hours trying to fix a leaky faucet and ended up flooding my bathroom floor. My neighbor found me sitting on the tile with a mop in one hand and a sad taco in the other. So if anyone knows about things not working out, it's definitely me. Hopefully you have better luck than I did with my plumbing adventure.
