Walked into a cafe in Silver Lake last week and watched the barista burn three shots in a row before serving one

They just shrugged it off like it was normal but if I served a customer a car with that many screw ups I'd be out of business by noon has anyone else noticed the quality dropping at these trendy spots or is it just me?

Comparing coffee to cars is a stretch since one is a 50k purchase and the other is a 6 dollar drink. That barista probably just had an off morning or the machine needs a real cleaning. Places get busy and quality slips sometimes, but burning three shots in a row is a bad look regardless.
