Some random dude at a party told me my job is just 'turning screws'
I mean, idk, maybe it's just me but it gets old when folks think fixing cameras is simple. Like, this guy acted like I just twist a few things and it's done, but there's so much more to it.

Doesn't camera repair involve more than just turning screws?

It's way more than that, especially with older film cameras. You're often dealing with dried grease, alignment issues, and tiny, fragile parts. It's a real puzzle sometimes.

I totally used to think it was all about swapping parts. Fixing my old Minolta taught me how much brain work goes into tracing electrical faults.
