My collapsible bottle sprung a leak halfway through a hike
I figured out it was from cranking the cap too hard, so now I'm gentle with it. But I'm stuck between loving the saved space and worrying it'll fail again when I need it most.

Actually, that's a design flaw, not your fault.

That whole cranking-too-hard thing really bugs me, what part actually failed? The threads on the cap, or the silicone seal itself? Makes you wonder if the space-saving is worth always having that doubt in the back of your mind.
