Celebrity apology videos all follow the same fake script now
I keep seeing public figures post these overly produced videos when they get called out. It's always the same sad music and rehearsed lines that never address the real issue. Are we really supposed to believe they changed after a five minute clip?

I mean when xena_fox39 says they should say something, I get it, but these videos feel so empty. I had a friend mess up bad once and @riverthompson is right, the script doesn't fix it. What worked for us was him just talking one-on-one, no cameras, and actually doing different stuff for a few months before anyone even believed him.

Isn't it better they say something instead of hiding? Even a scripted apology can get people talking about the real problem.
