Spent $80 on a ticket to a comedian's show right before they got cancelled
I bought it for a date night a month ago, then the old tweets dropped and the show got pulled. The venue gave a refund but it was a whole thing to get it. Has anyone else had a ticket turn into a moral debate because of a cancellation?

Used to just laugh it off when someone got in trouble, figured people change. Had a similar thing happen with a concert last year, and going through the refund hassle made it real. Now I actually check who I'm giving money to before I buy a ticket. It's annoying but feels necessary these days.

My friend bought a whole set of those meal kits from a celebrity chef, and then a week later the big scandal broke. It was just sitting in her freezer, and every time she opened it she felt weird. It's like our shopping carts and event tickets have turned into little ethics quizzes now.
