That 2019 tweet resurfaced and I actually changed my mind

Saw a callout thread for a small creator who posted something dumb 6 years ago. I almost auto-defended them. But I read the actual thread from 2019. They doubled down twice, called critics bots, then quietly deleted it. 4 screenshots in the archive proved it. I used to think all cancel attempts were mob justice. Now I check the receipts before picking a side. Anyone else flip after seeing the full timeline?

Used to be all in on defending anyone who got dragged for old posts, figured people change and archives were just gotchas. Then I saw a timeline where the person argued for hours, insulted everyone, and only deleted it after they got ratioed hard. That flipped a switch. Receipts matter more than my gut reaction now. I still think mobs go too far, but I also get why people dig when someone’s being shady. If the evidence is right there, it’s on me to look before I run my mouth.
