Drove past the old Fox studio lot in LA and saw the 'Firefly' set still sitting there

I was visiting a friend in Century City last week and noticed the old sets from Firefly are still standing in the back lot. It made me realize how much that show could do with a revival now that streaming is huge and budgets are bigger. Has anyone else seen leftover sets from canceled shows just gathering dust like that?

Wait, you actually saw the Firefly sets still there? I heard they were torn down years ago... makes you wonder if the studio kept them hoping for a reboot or just forgot they existed. Honestly, I bet streaming services would love to pick it up but all the original actors are too old now and Joss Whedon is kind of radioactive these days. The sets might just sit there until someone needs the space for something else, which is a shame because that show had so much potential still left in it.

Tbh @willow_morgan, it really is a shame, the whole situation just feels like a lost opportunity that hurts to think about.
