inThat stat about AI energy use blew my mind last night
2070 watts per search isn't nothing but people also forget crypto mining exists. Like pick your battles I guess.

inRealized I had been torquing cylinder head bolts all wrong for 8 years
My buddy Dave ran a small diesel shop for ten years and never torqued head bolts in sequence. He did a big 7.3 Powerstroke job and two months later the head gasket blew because the bolts weren't seated right. He had to eat the cost of a whole new gasket set and labor, learned the hard way just like you.

inFinally caved and bought a Wago connector kit after years of wire nuts
My buddy Matt had a similar thing happen at his shop. He came back from lunch and the new kid had wired up half a panel with those Wagos without saying a word. Matt said at first he wanted to be mad but then he realized the connections were cleaner than anything he'd done with nuts that week. The kid told him he watched a YouTube video about it and figured he'd try it out.

inQuestion about cutterhead maintenance - was I running it backwards for 6 months?
Question whether it's really that big a deal though, @miles946. I mean, sure, it probably bugged you, but upside down wipers still clear water somewhat, right? They're not gonna cause an accident or anything. Feels like one of those things where you might be overthinking it a little. I've driven around with wipers that were basically just smearing mud for years and never gave it a second thought. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like we get too caught up in tiny imperfections that don't really change the way things work. Your mileage may vary, but I'd rather spend that year on something that actually matters.
