I just spent $40 on a 'Save The OA' t-shirt and it made me rethink everything
I always thought fan campaigns were a waste of time (and money), but buying this shirt and seeing the organized push online actually convinced me. The show's creators had a full five-season plan, and ending it after two left so much story on the table. Has anyone else here put cash toward a revival campaign that actually felt worth it?

Used to roll my eyes at these things. Figured it was just throwing money into a void. But the OA campaign was different. Seeing the billboards go up and the coordinated social media push, it felt like a real movement. Made me realize fan support can actually send a message to the networks.

Yeah, that "real movement" feeling is key, @sullivan.finley. It stops being just fans talking to a wall and starts looking like a real crowd they can't ignore. That shift in how it looks might be what finally gets their attention.

I saw a post last week that said the OA campaign had over 50,000 unique posts tagged in one day. That kind of number is impossible to ignore, it's a visual wave of support. You're totally right, @lindab49, that's when it stops being background noise and becomes a real problem they have to look at. It proves the audience is big and paying attention, not just a few loud voices. That changes the whole game for the people making the decisions.
