Pro tip: I'm still mad about 'The OA' getting axed after two seasons

I remember watching the first season back in 2016 and being totally hooked on the weird story about near-death experiences and those strange movements. I used to tell everyone I knew to watch it, even my sister who never likes my show picks. The show got canceled in 2019, and I still think about that wild cliffhanger. Netflix spent millions on other stuff that flopped, but they cut this one just as it was getting really good. It felt like they built this whole unique world and then just left us hanging. Now I'm way more careful about starting any Netflix original that isn't already finished. Has anyone else given up on starting new shows from them because of this?

Switched to only watching completed shows now.

I tried that for a year after Game of Thrones ended. The problem is you miss all the weekly water cooler talk. Now I just check if a show is renewed before I start.

Checking if a show is renewed first is smart, but I'd rather just watch what looks good and risk it.
