Rant: My friend and I got into a huge fight over 'The OA' being canceled
Last week, we were at a bar in Chicago and he said the show was too weird to deserve a final season. I mean, the cliffhanger from season 2 in 2019 was insane, and they had plans for 5 seasons total. He thinks Netflix was right to cut it after 2 seasons because the ratings maybe weren't huge. But I feel like the fans, who raised over $80,000 for billboards, deserve some closure. Has anyone else had a friendship almost break over a canceled show?
