Showerthought: my Firefly rewatch hit a wall at episode 9 because I keep skipping to the good parts
I sat down last Saturday to rewatch Firefly for the first time since 2017 and got stuck around episode 9 because I kept jumping to the good parts instead of going in order. Once I skipped ahead the first time, the rest of the rewatch fell apart in maybe 40 minutes, and now I have half-finished episodes sitting in my queue. Does anyone else have a show they want revived so bad that they ruin their own rewatch, or is that just a me problem?

Ha, I did the same thing with The Expanse and now I can quote every Amos line but couldn't tell you what happens in season 4. The problem is once you know where the gold is buried, digging through the whole field again feels like busy work. Shows like Firefly hit different when there's only one season, so every skip feels like cheating yourself out of the last few bites.
