Still mad they canceled Mindhunter after two seasons

I was stuck in a hospital break room at 3am scrolling through Netflix realizing we're never getting season 3 and now every true crime show is about serial killers but nobody wants to talk about the FBI guys who actually had to sit in a room with them.

Give me a break with the Mindhunter hype. It was two seasons of slow paced interviews where nothing really happens. Everyone acts like it was some masterpiece but it was just a show about guys talking to murderers in boring rooms.

Three seasons is a pretty common mistake people make with Mindhunter @kim_west, but it was actually only two seasons and they both dropped nearly five years apart. The slow burn is kind of the point though, those real FBI interviews with guys like Ed Kemper are more about uncomfortable psychology than flashy crime scenes. Fincher was building a profile of how profiling started, not making a shoot em up cop show.
