Took a chance on 'The Society' revival petition and it actually hit 50k signatures
I was super skeptical when that fan group started pushing for another season of The Society on Netflix since it got canned back in 2020 after that cliffhanger. But after seeing them organize watch parties and get 50,000 signatures in under two months, I signed up and now I'm honestly hoping it gets picked up somewhere else. Anyone else been surprised by a petition that actually gained real traction?

50,000 signatures sounds big until you realize Netflix cancelled it because barely anyone actually watched it live, not because they hated the cliffhanger. Those watch parties are just the same 200 diehard fans watching on repeat to pump up numbers, not real new viewers. If a network wanted this show back, they would have grabbed it already instead of leaving fans to beg on paper.

Yeah, that part about "the same 200 diehard fans watching on repeat" really stings because it's probably true. It's tough seeing a show you love get cancelled when the numbers just aren't there, no matter how much the core fans fight for it.
