Visited a diner in Pittsburgh and it changed my mind about 'The Society'

I was always on the fence about The Society getting another season because I thought the ending was messy. But then I went to this old diner in Pittsburgh called Ritter's Diner last weekend. The waitress there was talking to a customer about shows that got canceled too soon, and she brought up how The Society had all these loose threads that could have made a killer second season. She pointed out how the characters were stuck in that town with no adults, and the whole social experiment angle was just getting started. Hearing her break it down with real examples from the show made me realize I was wrong. The show ended on a cliffhanger with multiple mysteries, and there's so much meat left to explore. Has anyone else revisited a show after hearing someone talk about it in person? What changed your mind?

Yeah, that "social experiment angle was just getting started" bit is what convinced me you found the one waitress who writes fan theories in her free time.

Totally agree, I had a bartender once who was convinced every weird customer interaction was some kind of psychological study. Made me wonder how much time she spent on Reddit.
