My 2012 Civic got a busted passenger mirror backing out of a tight spot in Denver, dealership wanted $600 for a new one. Spent an hour at the salvage lot and pulled a matching mirror off a wrecked coupe for $12, plus 20 minutes with a screwdriver to swap it. Anyone else had a junkyard part work out better than paying full retail?
$12 for a whole mirror? That dealership quote is insane. I paid almost that much for a sandwich in Denver last week. You got a factory part off a coupe too, which probably matches the paint better than anything aftermarket anyway.
