Unpopular opinion: I realized I was wasting 15 hours a week on useless meetings after my kid asked why I was always on the computer.
My 6 year old pointed at my screen during a Friday afternoon Zoom and said 'you just talk, you don't make anything', and that was the moment I saw my calendar was full of performative work that added zero value to my actual job.

Kids really do cut right to the truth, don't they? That's a huge chunk of time to spend on things that don't matter. Makes you wonder what we're all actually doing.
