Showerthought: blew $340 on a power stretcher and it saved my back on one job in Phoenix
Had a 14 by 22 room with berber that would not budge using my knee kicker, and my helper quit on day two. So I dropped $340 on a used power stretcher off a Craigslist guy in Phoenix, and the thing pulled that carpet so tight it sounded like a guitar string. Finished the room in 90 minutes instead of the whole day I had planned. My back still hates me from Monday but at least this job didn't finish the job. Anyone got a trick for stretching berber in a tight hallway without hauling out the big gun?
