Guy at a Shell station in Tulsa told me I was eating my gas station hot dog wrong
I was loading up my roller dog with ketchup and mustard at this Shell station off Route 66, and this older guy in a trucker hat walks over and says "son, you're burying the flavor," then hands me a packet of jalapeno relish he pulled from his pocket. Has anyone else had a stranger give you unsolicited (but actually solid) food advice at a gas station?

Did you ask him how long he'd been carrying that relish around in his pocket? That's the real question nobody's asking.

Ngl that relish pocket thing was probably sitting in some forgotten jacket from a barbecue last July. Tbh I've pulled worse out of my own coat before, like a melted granola bar that looked like a science experiment. Who knows how long that stuff stays good, but I bet he's been saving it for a "special occasion.
