Vent: My neighbor said 'one person can't make a difference' about recycling

He told me that last Tuesday, and it just stuck with me all week. Has anyone else had a conversation that made them double down on doing the small stuff?

Yeah, that's such a lazy thing to say. I'm with @the_paul, it only takes one person to get the ball rolling.

Last Tuesday? That's a whole week to be carrying that around, man. What a downer thing for someone to say out loud. It's that exact attitude that makes people give up before they even start. My whole street does single stream now because one guy kept bugging the city council about it.

Tell your neighbor to check the history books. Every big change started with one person doing something small. Keep putting your bin out, it matters.
