Pro tip: I always thought a French press was too much work for a weekday, but my roommate in Chicago convinced me to try a 4-minute steep with pre-ground beans.
The flavor was so much richer than my usual drip, and now I'm hooked, so has anyone found a good thermal carafe to keep a full press hot for a second cup?

Honestly, just make a fresh press.

But a fresh press can waste a ton of grounds if you're just trying one cup. I've found it's better to use a small pour-over cone right on your mug. You get a clean cup without making a whole pot.

My old French press broke last year, so I switched to a pour-over like @the_kevin.
