Fell for a $150 variant cover just because the foil looked cool

I grabbed a House of X #1 foil variant from a shop in Austin and now it's worth maybe $15, so who else has bought a comic based purely on the cover art and regretted it after?

Can't believe it dropped that fast, like did the market just crash overnight or something? I'd be staring at my wallet trying to figure out what went wrong with that buy. That's the kind of loss that makes you question every collecting decision you've ever made.
