Can we talk about the concrete pour we did at the new bank in Springfield?
The specs called for a 4-inch slump but the truck showed up with a 6-inch mix and we had to send it back. Has anyone else had a supplier mess up a simple spec like that recently?

My buddy had a whole foundation pour get held up because the plant sent out 3000 psi mix instead of 4000. It's wild how a simple number mix-up can throw a whole day off schedule and cost everyone money.

Man, that's a classic headache right there. What finally worked for us was making the foreman do a direct phone check with the batch plant an hour before the truck even rolled. After a mess up like @oliver2 mentioned, we got super strict about it. It adds two minutes to the morning but saves a whole day of standing around staring at the wrong mud.

Honestly, did you guys have to pay a restocking fee for sending that truck back? I've heard some plants try to charge for their own screw up.
