Just finished a big job in Mobile and my new comms unit saved my butt
We had a 48 hour window to do a hull clean on a container ship. My old unit kept cutting out past 50 feet, but I rented a Kirby Morgan EXO-26 for this one. The difference was night and day, I could hear topside perfectly the whole time, even when I was working under the stern. Has anyone else made a switch that made a huge difference on a tight schedule job?

You were running comms that cut out past 50 feet on a regular basis? That's a lawsuit waiting to happen, man. The EXO stuff is in a totally different league. Once you go full-face with that audio quality, you can't go back to the old junk.
