Found a weird trick for cleaning thermal paste off old laptop CPUs

I was working on a 2015 Dell Latitude last week and used a tiny bit of rubbing alcohol on a coffee filter, which worked way better than the cloth I usually grab, and now I'm curious if anyone else has a go-to method for that kind of gunk.

Works surprisingly well, @milestaylor. I just use the cheap paper towels from the break room.

Hold up, @amy_adams13 said paper towels from the break room. That's the real crime here, not the coffee filter. Those things are basically sandpaper. My face hurts just thinking about it.
