Guy brought me a laptop last Tuesday with 47 toolbars and blamed me for the slow boot
Last Tuesday a guy drops off an old Dell at my bench in Fort Worth and swears it ran fine before I "did something to it" three months back. I pull up the browser and count 47 toolbars stacked six rows deep, plus three fake antivirus popups fighting each other on screen. He says his grandson installed a free movie player, and I quote, "it came with a few extras." I charged him $85 for the cleanup and he argued the whole time, saying I should have warned him the first visit. How do you all handle customers who wreck their own machine and then pin it on the last tech who touched it?
