On your recent pour, did you adjust the water-cement ratio? That's usually where I see problems.

Yeah, the water-cement ratio is important, but curing is just as key. I always make sure to keep the surface moist for at least a week. Do you use burlap or plastic sheets for that?

Oh man, that reminds me of my dad's weird method. He'd use old shower curtains instead of tarps for small jobs. That stuff held up fine.
