That superplasticizer tip from a rep in Omaha nearly ruined my slab
A sales rep told me to cut the water and add extra superplasticizer to hit slump on a hot day. I trusted him on a 40-yard pour near Council Bluffs last August, and the mix turned to soup in the chute. We had to wait 45 minutes for it to firm up, and the finish still looked like crap in spots. Anyone else had reps push additives that messed with your set time?
