The crew next door started using a new curing compound on a strip mall job in Tempe

I watched them pour the same mix on two days, but the second day they switched to a spray-on acrylic sealer instead of the old plastic sheets. After 72 hours, the second slab had way less crazing and the color was even across the whole pad. Some guys say the spray is too pricey and messy, but the finish looked solid. What's your go-to for curing in hot, dry weather like we get here?

That spray-on acrylic is a game changer in our heat. We use a two-coat spray system, wet on wet, right after the bleed water goes away. The key is getting the timing right before the slab starts to dry out. What's your crew's window between finishing and applying the sealer?

We switched to spray-on last summer and it held up great.

So you got a whole summer out of it? What brand did you go with, and did you have to prep the surface a lot first? I've heard some of those sprays can be a pain if the old coating isn't cleaned off right.
