Hot take: I counted 47 flat earth posts in one week and only 3 had any real math
I started tracking posts in this sub for 7 days straight, and 47 of them pushed flat earth claims while just 3 showed any actual measurements or sources. The big accounts kept saying 'do your own research' but never posted a single number you could check. So is this a debate community or just a spot to drop claims and run, and how do we push back on that?

47 posts and only 3 with real math is a pretty rough ratio, but honestly that tracks with what I see in here too. The "do your own research" crowd never seems to post the research they supposedly did, which is funny when you think about it. Maybe we should start a rule where every claim needs at least one number attached, or it gets tossed in the trash with the other hot takes.
