Just realized everyone is wrong about needing a $2,000 mirrorless camera to look professional.

I dropped $1,800 on one for my videos, but my older DSLR with a $400 lens upgrade gets me the same quality and saves me hours on color grading.

Look professional" is what they sell you to get that $1,800. My wallet feels that joke.

Read a piece arguing that lighting and audio matter more than the camera body.

That piece makes a fair point, but I see it differently. A good camera body gives you better files to work with, especially in low light. Great lighting can't fix a blurry or noisy shot from a weak sensor. They all matter, but the camera is the starting point.
