Found my weird comfort food combo by accident during a power outage

My power went out for like 6 hours last Tuesday in Austin and all I had was a can of cold cream of mushroom soup and some stale saltines. I mixed the soup straight from the can with crushed crackers and ate it like a weird paste. Now I actually crave it sometimes, is this totally insane or has anyone else stumbled into a strange comfort food that way?

82 degrees in my apartment that day and I woulda killed for anything cold. Honestly that sounds kinda genius to me though, cold soup and crackers is basically like a weird dip situation. Not gonna lie I might try this on purpose next time its hot out.
