The $8 nail file I avoided for 3 years finally changed my gel routine
Last month at a supply shop in Austin, the clerk handed me a crystal file and said 'just try it once.' I used to think they were gimmicks, but after one pass on my own acrylics I booked a new client with cleaner edges than I ever got with my old files. Has anyone else switched tools this late in their career and felt silly about it?

Honestly, “just try it once” is how they get you, but did the cleaner edges actually save you time on filing, or was it more about the final look?
