Unpopular opinion: I dropped $200 on a fancy color-correcting mirror for my station

It was a total waste because the light was so harsh it made every client's skin look washed out, so I went back to my old setup. Has anyone found a mirror that actually gives true-to-life color without breaking the bank?

Tried a cheaper ring light with adjustable warmth instead. Honestly, the softer setting made all the difference for me.

Yeah, I got one with a dimmer switch and it's a total game changer.

Yo @zara572 nailed it with that adjustable warmth thing. It's like how phone filters mess up food pics but nobody talks about it. Seems like everything lately is about chasing specs instead of just making things look normal.
