DAE think those new self-erecting cranes are getting way too popular on small jobsites?

Honestly, I was down in Nashville last month helping a buddy with a low-rise apartment complex, and the GC brought in one of those remote-controlled self-erectors. Saved a day on setup, sure, but the operator had to work around its stupid footprint in a tight alley. We lost a whole morning because the crane's outriggers blocked the delivery truck access. I get that they're fast, but for a job under 50 tons, is the convenience really worth the site planning headaches? Has anyone else run into these things causing more problems than they solve?

@kai_park That dumpster probably wasn't feeling too great about it either.

Our 50 ton had a sensor glitch and lowered the boom into a dumpster.

Had a similar glitch on a 35 ton last year, dumped a whole pallet of bricks.
