Hit 1,000 writing prompts posted in this sub yesterday and didn't even notice until midnight
Had a random goal of 500 back in 2021 but kept going and now I'm sitting on a folder of 300 unused prompts nobody's seen yet so what's the weirdest prompt you've ever gotten a reply on?

Why does it feel like the stuff nobody sees is always the most interesting work you've done? Its like when you clean a spot nobody asked for but it turns out looking perfect while the stuff everyone's watching comes out average. The quiet moments where you're just doing your own thing usually end up being the best ones.

Wait, you're telling me that's not just me? I thought I was the only one who spent three hours getting a corner of the spreadsheet perfect that literally nobody will ever click on. It's like the work that gets the most attention is always the half-baked thing I threw together at the last minute. But the thing I actually put my soul into ends up buried in a folder somewhere. Honestly, that might be the most relatable thing I've read all week.
