Update: I used to write prompts in my notebook, now I use a voice memo app on my phone
For years I kept a physical notebook for prompt ideas, but I lost my last one in a coffee shop in Denver. Now I just speak ideas into my phone whenever they hit me, which feels way faster. Do you think typing or speaking your initial ideas works better for capturing that raw creative spark?

Losing that notebook in Denver is a real fear, so I switched to just yelling at my phone.

Just yelling at my phone" is such a good point from @the_evan. I was really attached to my paper notebook for a long time. The fear of losing it finally made me switch to digital notes too. It's honestly a relief not to worry about that anymore.
