Rant: my "smart" doorbell locked me out for 20 minutes and I had to climb through a window
Last Tuesday I was carrying groceries up to my porch in Boise and the doorbell camera decided my own face was suspicious, so it froze the lock app on my phone. I stood there in the rain for 20 minutes tapping a spinning circle while my ice cream melted, then gave up and shimmied through the bathroom window like a burglar. Has anyone else had a smart lock lock them out, and is there a brand that actually works offline when the wifi drops?

Wifi goes down and suddenly every smart thing in my house turns into a rock lol.
