Trusting the spec sheet feels like admitting your mom was right about reading the fine print. Of course it's the most boring way to do things, but so is fixing a huge mistake later. The real lesson is that excitement and new gear are a dangerous mix. What was the worst thing you skipped reading and paid for later?
