Serious question, why do so many digital art showcases lean on that same glow effect?
I went to a small gallery show in Chicago last month that was all digital art, maybe 30 pieces on the wall. About two thirds of them had that soft glow around the edges, the kind you get from a certain filter. I get it, it looks nice on a screen, but standing there in person it started to feel like the same piece over and over. Is this a trend other people are seeing too, or did I just hit a weird night at one show?
